Partnership with Home Hardware

Home Hardware Orleans (at 470 Charlemagne Blvd,. corner of Tenth Line) has extended the offer to St. Clare to be part of their Partnership Program. When a member of our St. Clare staff or families purchase something at Orleans Home Hardware, just mention that you are from St. Clare to the cashier. The cashier will then make a duplicate receipt and St. Clare will get 5% back from the purchase to put towards school programs. All staff and parents of St. Clare students as well as their extended family and friends are eligible to participate in this program.
This is a wonderful and easy opportunity to not only earn a bit of extra money for the school, but to also support a locally owned, Canadian company.

Thank you for your support.

Exciting News ... Dr. Ian Manion is Coming ....

On April 6, 2017 at 7:00 pm in our school gym, Dr. Ian Manion is coming to speak about youth mental health. Dr. Manion is the Director of Youth Mental Health at The Royal. Many, many thanks to our School Council for making this happen!!! We are thrilled to have secured a presentation from Dr. Manion and you are all invited. This is a huge opportunity for our parent community to have such a well respected speaker come ... and at no charge to you. We have both heard him speak at last year's Mental Health Conference and very much enjoyed his talk. We certainly hope you all come out. It will be well worth your time. His presentation is about an hour long and then he will take questions.

What is an IEP? What is an IPRC?

Your child's assessment has indicated that your child should be put on an IEP - only you have no idea what that means. Click the link below for the parent guide to Special Education and Student Services. Also included is information about the IPRC. Remember ... if you have any questions, you can always ask your child's Resource teacher. We are happy to help.

This class is considered a "system class" and supports a maximum of 6 students at the JK and SK level. Once they are ready, Ms. O's students integrate (with support) into our other Kinder classes. Not only are we teaching our students in ASK but they have much to teach us too!!
